First, i was being over charged for bundle with an incorrect deduction. Talked to customer service. They said it was all cleared up and I'll see the correct changes next month. Turned on app a month later, my account was canceled /billing suspended. Called customer service. Was rudely going up on by Zack. Waited over ten minutes again. I mentioned the last agent hung up and they said they wouldn't. As soon as i started explaining, they hung up on me again.
I have been hung up on twice in the past 30min trying to deal with my account issue. customer service has been rude, unprofessional and very unhelpful

Disney+ is one of the cheaper options among the popular streaming services at the moment, with its monthly fee only costing ~$12 a month (in Australia). The only one I can think of that's currently cheaper than Disney+ is Amazon Prime.
The flipside to this is that its content choice is often very limited: most of what's currently available on the site is stuff from the last twenty or thirty years. While the choices have expanded recently because of Disney's acquisition of Twentieth Century Fox having been finalised, there's still a pretty wide range of stuff that Disney had in its own backlog that they could have put on the site. This stuff might not have done as well with the current generation of kids, but it's stuff that'd go down well with most of the adults that are, y'know, paying for the service.
I think Disney has shot itself in the foot in this regard. One of the big selling points of Disney+ that they tend to include in a lot of the advertisements for the service has been that it's stuff from Disney, Pixar, LucasFilms, Marvel, National Geographic, and Twentieth Century Fox. Outside of Star Wars, the MCU stuff, and the more recently released Disney stuff, it's not really taking full advantage of this.
Still, the biggest benefit Disney+ has over other popular streaming services isn't actually anything to do with its selection. It's that it has some parental control features that other streaming services lack. In the profile settings page, you have the option of setting the highest content rating a person using that profile can watch. This makes a lot of intuitive sense because while it makes sense that an adult might want to see a slightly edgier movie on the site like one of the Alien movies, you might not want your eight-year-old to watch it unsupervised.
While I am totally aware that this was a measure taken just so Disney could protect its family friendly image, it's such an easy, intuitive thing to add that I have to wonder why other streaming services haven't added it. Netflix might have a kids' section, but its kids' section is mostly stuff for preschoolers and isn't stuff that'd necessarily be suitable for primary school kids. Disney+'s parental controls allows for that extra nuance that comes when dealing with older kids.
Still, I do think Disney+ would greatly benefit from adding to its selection. There's a lot of stuff National Geographic was coming out with when I was in high school that seems to mostly only be available online because of grainy bootlegged copies uploaded to YouTube, for example. While there might not be a huge audience for a show like Taboo, Disney's certainly getting less money for it now that it's mostly only available through YouTube uploads than they would if they gave it an official release on their streaming service.
Great customer service! It couldn't be better. I had a wonderful experience.
Anything that they think is un-pc they think should be censored, Disney should be ashamed.
Very good website. You don't have to spend a fortune on subscription as it usually happens to enjoy great content. Think, everyone can find something interesting there.
My favourite show Gordon Ramsay - uncharted is there and there is many other great movies like Avengers Age of Ultron and The Simpsons. Worth it!
The worst customer service I have ever seen. Spent more than half an hour with no help. The service is frustrating and it does not worth the money you pay as it lacks the features of competitors. They don't offer free trail and no refund if you change your mind in couple of hours of using the service.
Awful customer service on the online chat. I can't login to my account even though the password and username are correct. I have hit a brick wall when being asked to provide the last 4 digits of the bank card originally used to create the account. It was old card, long-since disposed of. Why can't I just use my username and password to login. What's the point of having login details when they can't be used. Not really a 'Help Centre' at all.
I'm not big on Disney + or Disney + Pro. First it's over priced and selections are limited to pick from. I thought you'd have hundreds of thousands of movies and tv shows to watch from. Not so. Only hits from the past 20 years or so and anything that's been recently released that's a big hit.
The content is relatively limited. Disney let's face it ruined some of my favorite cartoon shows that were once upon a time independently owned and face it decent. Well decent before Disney destroyed them with terrible second plot lines. Then made the animation cr-ap-py. Your other option is to rewatch most of your favorite tv shows growing up. Like a lot of people we rewatched some of our favorite old tv shows several times over growing up. So why would I want to rewatch old dc, marvel or Disney owned tv shows again and again? When I already did that 15+ years ago?
Disney could learn a thing or two from Netflix with streaming services. Their streaming let's face it has issues. While binge watching a tv series I have found it doesn't smoothly play from episode to episode in a sequential order. Some times it'll do fine and play until end of season. Other times it'll start randomly skipping to other episodes in other seasons for no apparent reason. Other times it'll finish the episode and kick you back to the home menu. Pausing is another issue. It some times lags 10-15 seconds before it actually pauses. Then you have to tap the go back ten seconds button to miss the skipped scene. When you are done watching a video it'll send you to the finished content page. There are no buttons or options to send you back to the Disney home page. None. You have to exit out of the program and enter back in again. Same in the web browser.
I have a superb high quality surround sound system with my multi medial center. I don't know why but Disney + has weak sound. It's rather quiet and I have found that I have to increase the volume up to 30% if I want to even hear it half the time clearly. I don't have this issue when I watch the bluray version of the movie.
Quality is okay for a web based streaming service. It's not 4k but youtube okay. Even on the 4k movies it's not that great. It has lag and catching up issues.
The only perk of Disney + Pro is you get access to sport channels. Well I can get that with my tivo or premium cable access and I don't have to pay extra for it. I could honestly care less for the sports package as I don't even like sports. I'm tired of Disney every now and then forcing the upgrade on you. You have to close the browser and reopen it to avoid the please force purchase this update to receive full services. Bull S-hit. The sports package will be wasted as I'm part of the 25% of society that could care less about sports. Why pay for something I'm not going to use. On the rare occasion I do watch a game I can just stream it from my cable service website for free.
I ran Disney + for about four months before I said good bye to it. I may not reactivate it. I pretty much already own all the movies I want to watch so Disney+ isn't worth it. If I want to rewatch old movies for free I'll just pull out the dvd or bluray.

I like this website as it has everything like movies, shows and parks. Its subscription is also affordable. Can watch Marvels, Avengers etc.
A fustrating service. Lacks the features of competitors, repetitive notifications on the app that you cannot turn off in the app, "service emails" about new categories (which I consider marketing) which you cannot disable, a pain in the butt to request data erasure, but most fustrating is there are no options to email Disney Plus, you can online live chat or call.
